Nursing Jobs

Being a nurse at Children's is more than just protocols and medication rounds—it’s knowing when a hug is the most important thing in the world to a child. It’s knowing that sometimes laughter really is the best medicine. But, most important, it’s giving patients and families exactly the care they need, when they need it.

Our Egleston and Scottish Rite hospitals received initial Magnet designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in November 2018 and February 2019 respectively. The Magnet Recognition Program recognizes healthcare organizations worldwide who demonstrate superior nursing standards in the delivery of quality patient care, leading to the highest levels of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction. Hughes Spalding is in the process of pursuing designation by the ANCC and will complete appraisal for the ANCC’s Pathway to Excellence Program at the end of 2019.

At Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, nurses play an integral role in our mission of making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.
