As part of the Children's IS&T team, you'll have a unique opportunity to combine your passion for information technology with your desire to make a difference.
Here, every role is essential in fulfilling our mission to provide kids the quality pediatric care they deserve. The information technology department at Children’s brings together analysts, developers, technicians, engineers and information architects to manage every application and piece of sensitive digital data in order to protect patients’ health information. The IS&T team also works extensively in Epic, an electronic health record system, which Children's was on the forefront of implementing in the Atlanta area. Day to day, we rely on our IS&T department to keep our technology up to date and running smoothly. But we also need these innovators to help ensure that we remain on the cutting edge of healthcare technology. Consider utilizing your skills in the healthcare industry.
From Jeremy Meller, Chief Information Officer of Children’s: “The current demands of the healthcare landscape, ongoing cybersecurity threats across all industries, and the opening of Arthur M. Blank Hospital in fall of 2024, pose unique and exciting challenges for IS&T. Our team is laser-focused on building safe, more predictive, integrated and coordinated solutions to increase collaboration between clinical teams, provide tools for more dynamic patient engagement, and streamline workflows. At the end of the day, the goal of IS&T is to support Children’s to fulfill our Mission of making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.”
