Preparing You for Success

To support new graduate clinicians, Children’s helps bridge the gap between academic education and professional practice through training and resources like our Respiratory Therapy Residency Program. Additionally, experienced clinicians transitioning to pediatrics will receive hands-on training, specialty-specific education and other tools to help them find success in their new role.
Supporting Your Development We encourage learning and support your continued development by offering educational assistance and a dedicated Career Center, which offers one-on-one sessions with certified career coaches.
Building a Collaborative Culture Our team holds monthly multidisciplinary forums, where you’ll get insight from fellow clinical caregivers on how to navigate the social and emotional challenges associated with patient care.

Respiratory therapists like Maya play a huge role in helping save kids’ lives. She credits her team’s diversity, dedication and their compassionate approach to care—as well as her own years of experience—for making it possible to offer the advanced care necessary to help kids breathe easier.
Ridge testimonial photo
As a patient safety supporter at Children’s, Ridge provides support for kids and teens who are medically unstable or hospitalized due to mental health conditions and require around-the-clock supervision. It’s an important role that inspired Ridge to further his medical career, with Children’s encouraging him every step of the way.
