Application Process
Once your application is submitted, you will receive an automatic email confirmation from our system. (Be sure to check your spam folder.) If you do not receive an email confirmation, go back online and resubmit your application.
Please note that Children’s does not accept paper applications or unsolicited resumes. If you are unable to utilize our online system, please contact us at careers@choa.org, and we will advise you on how best to proceed.
As part of the application process, you should have created a username and password to set up your candidate profile. You can easily access this account to check your application status by clicking ‘Candidate Home’ in the green bar at the top of our careers website. If for some reason you did not create an account, you can do so by going to ‘Candidate Home’. Finding the best candidate for each position can take time, so please be patient with us! We'll contact you as soon as possible if there's an interest in moving forward with the hiring process.
Interviewing & Onboarding
- Our recruiting team reviews applications to identify candidates whose experience and qualifications best match the role(s).
- If you are selected to move forward you will receive a notification from our recruiting team with next steps. This may include an invitation to speak with a recruiter and/or schedule an onsite or virtual interview.
- If you are not selected to continue in the proces you will also receive an update from our system or recruiter.
- You are also able to view the status of your application on your candidate home page. A login is required.
Applicants interviewing for a clinical position should expect to be on site at a Children’s location. These interviews typically include a meeting with the hiring manager followed by a period of shadowing, which allows candidates to pair up with a current staff member, tour the clinical area and demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Note: Scrubs are appropriate interview attire for clinical applicants.
Should you need to reschedule your interview for any reason, please reach out to your Children’s contact as soon as possible.
