JOB SUMMARY

Facilitates staff training programs to enhance technical skills and promote clinical and professional development. Keeps abreast of clinical and financial systems operations, personnel management, fiscal management, and professional development.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Training and Development, Education, or related field
CERTIFICATION SUMMARY
  • No professional certifications required
EXPERIENCE*
  • 1 year of experience in facilitation in computer software and healthcare business systems
  • Demonstrated experience in development and editing of instructional material
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating technical training classes and group discussion resulting in application and performance results

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated knowledge of graphics software, networks, hardware, and operating systems
  • Functions in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities
  • Ability to establish goals and achieve results within defined timelines and with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate training classes and group discussions that lead to application and performance results
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
  1. Provides technical training and orientation to multiple stakeholders, including administrative, clinical, and physician professional.
  2. Conducts training needs, job task, and job analysis to develop technical training strategy to support Information Systems & Technology’s project management protocol when introducing new hardware and software.
  3. Develops and maintains technical training schedule and employee transcript in the learning management system.
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
