Supply Chain Strategy Advisor

The Supply Chain Strategy Advisor is responsible for building the strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to drive operational improvement, deliver bottom line results, and ensure those results are sustained. This role leads end-to-end Supply Chain operational process improvement initiatives and the implementation of the desired future state operating model in alignment with the organization’s Workday Enterprise Resource Planning software implementation.


The Supply Chain Strategy Advisor reports to the Chief Financial Officer with a dotted line reporting realtinahip to the Strategic Integration Director.


This role will support our Workday implementation, which runs through April 2022. 


  1. Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive transformation and process change from end-to-end within Supply Chain.
  2. Leverage subject matter expertise and prior consulting experience to drive the delivery of major supply chain transformation initiatives that will include process improvement, implementation of enabling technology, and organizational redesign.
  3. Lead assessment of strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes needed to drive operational improvement.
  4. Deliver implementation of operational opportunities identified with sustained results as defined by the key performance indicators.
  5. Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and other impacted stakeholders to build buy-in and engagement of future state operating model.
  6. Partner with the Vice President of Supply Chain to ensure alignment of strategic vision and direction.


  • 10+ years supply chain experience at companies of scale and known for having best-in-class operations.
  • Successful supply chain transformation experience. Hand on experience shifting from a distributed supply chain model to a standardized approach.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, business, or related field is required.


  • Acts as a transformational change agent. Establishes practices to encourage and reinforce process standardization. Involves key influencers in the design and implementation of the change initiative, thus gaining buy-in from the team.
  • Effectively leads change to align with the strategy to improve performance.

  • Understands industry best practices and utilizes this knowledge to benchmark and drive performance.

No certifications required.


  • Previous supply chain consulting experience with large, complex clients is strongly preferred.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
