Sr. ERP Technical Administrator

JOB SUMMARY

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is hiring a Sr. ERP Technical Admin to join our permanent team.  The Sr. ERP Technical Administrator provides leadship and mentorship to the current team and provides application and implementation support, technology consultation, and operational support to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta user community. Ensures efficient and effective functioning and management of the Lawson/Infor system and provides technical support in the identification and resolution of problems. Designs and configures the Lawson/Infor system in the best manner possible to meet customer and organizational needs. Advises and mentors Lawson/Infor technical administrators by providing expert knowledge. Proactively supports efforts and services which ensure integrity of data within the department and delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
CERTIFICATION SUMMARY
  • No professional certifications required
EXPERIENCE*
  • 5 years of experience in Lawson/Infor technical administration using industry standards
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and/or support initiatives concurrently and managing project activities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
  • Experience with SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/XML programming
  • Experience with 4GL, Infor Environment utilities, Infor Security, SQL, Process Flow, IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server, Portal, Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, and Infor Unix administration and maintenance
  • Proficient in IBM AIX operating system and Oracle database for supporting Infor
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare information technology
  • Experience implementing an ERP system

  • Must have strong documentation skills to document customization specifications, interface specifications, system configuration, and standard operational procedures
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
  1. Manages and performs Infor Unix administration duties and supports core functions of Infor systems (e.g., Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Supply Chain).
  2. Manages and participates in installation of patches/cyclicals/upgrades to Infor environments and applications.
  3. Maintains technical maintenance calendar of events for Infor applications/environments, operating system, and database versions.
  4. Maintains/supports Windows server based applications, e.g., Infor Business Intelligence and Mobile Supply Chain Management.
  5. Develops/maintains/supports customizations and interfaces with Infor and associated business applications.
  6. Provides strategic oversight and leadership in planning/performing operational and capital technical activities.
  7. Provides leadership and guidance to Infor technical administrators.
  8. Reviews support processes, policies, and procedures to ensure proper communication, documentation, and training for technical administrators.
  9. Functions as technical support project liaison, ensuring effective transition from project initiation to routine support post-live.
  10. Ensures proper monitoring/maintenance of file systems, directories, log files, print files, and work files.
  11. Ensures change management processes and procedures are followed.
  12. Provides Infor technical expertise and guidance to other staff that supports Oracle.
  13. Provides support for Windows servers, UNIX systems and interfaces.
  14. Troubleshoots issues and communicates effectively with Infor support when needed.
  15. Communicates complicated technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  16. Creates and maintains technical policies and procedures for Infor patch management with management approval.
  17. Provides 24/7 support as needed.
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
