Senior Treasury Analyst

Work Schedule/Days:  Day / Monday - Friday

Safeguards corporate cash and collateral  deposited by processing bank transactions accurately and in accordance with internal policies and  regulatory requirements. Utilizes various banking systems to analyze and reconcile all cash accounts to calculate daily investments and secure collateral. Prepares and presents cash flow reports to Treasury Manager to forecast liquidity requirements. Coordinates debt  financings and interest payments, and produces investment income reports and reconciliations that drive  general ledger and financial statement reporting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • No professional certifications required
  • 5 years of experience in corporate treasury and banking
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems
  • 1 year of experience with online banking systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • Certified Treasury Professional
  • Treasury workstation experience
  • Experience with Lawson/Infor
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including PivotTable), and Access
  • Experience in enterprise resource planning or general ledger systems
  • Extensive experience with online banking systems
  • Experience in project management
  1. Oversees daily cash management and ensures sufficient funding for operational purposes to cover accounts payable, payroll, and taxes.
  2. Manages investment of excess cash.
  3. Assists with documentation of internal cash-related processes, identifies areas of risk, and standardizes internal processes with internal control.
  4. Participates in Treasury’s cash documentation and mapping.
  5. Assists with streamlining bank accounts, maintaining bank administration documents, and consolidating bank activities to reduce number of accounts and lower bank fees.
  6. Monitors cash applications weekly/monthly for accuracy and cash reporting for upper management.
  7. Benchmarks and analyzes bank fees and monitors monthly bank analysis statements to ensure accurate pricing structure.
  8. Assists in ongoing evaluation of cash deposits and payments, bank services and products, policies, procedures, and operational controls.
  9. Identifies, researches, and recommends cash management process improvements for alignment with industry best practices.
  10. Supports and implements new initiatives and projects.
  11. Assists with month-end close process as needed.
  12. Provides audit support (e.g., cash, debt, check copies, bank statements, and investment confirmations) as needed.
  13. Assists management with controllership process improvement across the system to eliminate financial risk.

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.


Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
