Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator - Child Advocacy

Provides strategic leadership and a solutions-oriented approach to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta websites and other digital platforms. Optimizes the customer experience by proactively providing recommendations that are data driven, utilizing the full ecosystem of data sources, including web analytics, paid media performance, offline data, user feedback, industry research and competitive analysis. Works with marketing partners to understand marketing and business goals and helps propose strategic solutions utilizing digital tools.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field


  • No professional certifications required


  • 3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Content management system (CMS) experience
  • Experience in SEO, digital paid media acquisition or marketing automation


  • Experience with Sitecore
  • Experience with Marketo
  • Knowledge of digital advertising tactics and media plan management
  • General knowledge of HTML


  • Strong working knowledge of website analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or similar
  • Demonstrated verbal communication skills, including communicating with others, public speaking, and effective listening
  • Ability to interview and gather information from sources at all levels in the system
  • Must be able to work with varying levels of staff
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and practices in digital marketing, search engine marketing/optimization, content development, technology, and communications


  1. Collaborates with and serves as primary liaison between Marketing and Communications and Information Systems & Technology, often acting as lead on development projects and timelines.
  2. Manages digital projects while working collaboratively with various departments throughout the system as well as external vendors.
  3. Consistently demonstrates collaborative, strategic, solutions-oriented approach to website requests.
  4. Proactively identifies opportunities for enhancements of website platforms and/or optimization of digital marketing campaigns or e-communications initiatives and develops project plan outlining tasks, team members, milestones and also ensures communication with leadership throughout project implementation.
  5. Effectively communicates digital marketing rationale and best practices to marketing team members and at times to leadership.
  6. Designs and maintains advanced analytics reports to provide strategic interpretation of performance of website and digital marketing and/or lead generation initiatives; makes recommendations based on insights to drive optimization and improved consumer engagement.


Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
