Recruitment Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

Provides administrative, logistical, and customer support to the Recruitment team, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure efficiency and accuracy regarding the staffing and selection process.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent

CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

  • No professional certifications required

EXPERIENCE*

  • 1 year of experience providing administrative support or Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Experience in human resources
  • Experience in corporate or agency healthcare recruitment

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  • Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interface with a diverse mix of people, including senior leadership, and handle difficult situations
  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently
  • Excellent grammar, vocabulary, and annunciation
  • Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office product suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Strong administrative skills, including typing a minimum of 45 error-free words per minute

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Coordinates and confirms interview and travel schedules with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  2. Drafts, sends and manages candidate correspondence/communications.
  3. Submits sign-on bonuses and relocation reimbursements for approval and prepares written authorization for relocation to third-party vendor.
  4. Coordinates, manages, and reports on various recruitment projects as needed, which may include major hiring initiatives, interview days, expansions, the employee referral program, university recruitment and hiring events.
  5. Provides reporting and analytics to recruiters.
  6.  Acts as day-of-interview concierge for Physician and Executive level candidates.
  7. Participates in department process improvement initiatives.
  8. Conducts research and presents findings on various recruiting related topics.
  9. Monitors recruiting inbox and promptly responds to all inquiries.
  10. Serves as resource for HRSC (related to recruiting activity).  

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
