  • 2-3 years experience in financially-oriented project management role,  preferably in healthcare but not required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired but not required
  • Event planning experience desired but not required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Charge Master Recalibration
    • Children’s is undergoing a multi-year Charge Master Recalibration effort. The 2017 project includes 3 workstreams:
      • Charge Capture Assessment (externally resourced)
      • Shell Record Implementation (internally resourced)
      • EAP Security & Controls (internally resourced)
    • Coordinate/facilitate external consultant activities and manage activities/participation of internal resources
    • Manage project plan, ensuring timely completion of activities and deliverables
    • Synthesize workstream activities/deliverables for reporting to the Steering Committee
    • Work closely with project leadership (VPs & Directors) to achieve project goals and objectives
    • Additional project management activities include agenda development, status reporting, meeting minutes, action item tracking, etc.
  • Leader Goal Setting & Scoring
    • Lead annual Director & above goal setting and scoring for Finance Division
    • Develop and manage project timeline
    • Effectively and proactively communicate with division leaders regarding project needs and timing
    • Work closely with Strategy and HR technology departments to ensure alignment with system targets and timing
    • Additional project management activities include agenda development, status reporting, meeting minutes, action item tracking, etc.
  • Division Events
    • Events include:
      • Manager & Above Service Day – 90+ attendees (August)
      • Director & Above Team Building and/or Retreat – ~30 attendees (Spring)
      • Quarterly Director & Above Lunches – ~30 attendees
    • Lead/assist in event planning, to include agenda development/management, venue and vendor (catering, AV, etc.) selection & coordination, attendee communication, etc.
  • Finance Committee & Investment Committee (externally facing)
    • The Finance & Investment Committees are Committees of Children’s Board of Trustees, for which the CFO is accountable
    • Assist with preparation, material gathering, and product development as needed

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
