Project Manager - Strategic Planning

Coordinates and completes short- and long-term projects as needed. Supports the Strategic Planning department in delivering a system strategy and ensuring its ongoing success by monitoring the external environment, evaluating internal progress, and recommending opportunities to act and adjust the strategy. Provides project management, timelines, and overall structure while anticipating and escalating any roadblocks or threats to keeping key strategic initiatives on track. Documents project progress by milestone and develops content to facilitate meetings and communicate key accomplishments to internal and external stakeholders.


•Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field


No professional certifications required


•1 year of experience in managing large, multi-stakeholder projects 
•1 year of experience in a professional working environment


•Experience in the healthcare industry

1.Creates, manages, and executes project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
2.Communicates and documents project plan, status updates, business goals, and governance plan to team and stakeholders.
3.Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and opportunities proactively.
4.Collaborates with specialists both inside and outside the organization with assigned tasks to deliver subject matter expert activities.
5.Ensures project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.


Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.


Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.


Ability to lift up to 15 lbs independently not to exceed 50 lbs without assistance

Climbing - Occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of time)
Hearing/Speaking - Effective communication with employees, supervisors/managers and staff. Effective communications with patients and visitors, as required.
