Organizational Effectiveness Consultant

The Organizational Effectiveness Consultant will provide consulting services across the System. Your focus will be in such areas (but not limited to) org design, org diagnostics, employee engagement and talent management. You will facilitate consulting engagements with internal clients from inception through implementation. This position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Organization Development, Business Administration, or related field


  • 5 years of progressive experience in organization effectiveness, leadership, and talent development
  • Experience in facilitating leaders at all levels
  • Experience in developing and managing projects from start to finish with measurable results and operational impact


  • Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Organization Development, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of performance consulting experience, preferably from  a consulting practice
  • Preferred certification in Organizational Effectiveness disciplines
  • Experience in finance, operations, general management, or related field in multiple industries


  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport, buy-in and trust of key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to assess complex problems/data, identify trends and interpretations and offer solid recommendations to various stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence using data, solid reasoning, and persuasion
  • Proven ability to adjust communication style based on the audience and communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills; exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to partner with diverse client groups with implementation of human capital solutions
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint



  • Provides consulting services in areas such as organization assessment and design, workforce performance and productivity and talent management.
  • Provides project management for employee engagement survey process, action planning and best practice identification and sharing.
  • Provides consulting support for talent management including talent planning processes.
  • Partners with leaders to assess and identify creative solutions to enhance team effectiveness and engagement.
  • Creates new resources, tools and leadership job aids that support organization effectiveness, talent strategies and change management initiatives.
  • Assesses outcomes of client engagements and uses data to improve internal processes and performance support tools.
  • Manages multiple project engagements from start to finish while achieving measurable results and impact.


Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.


Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
