JOB SUMMARY

Consults with hiring managers to identify and source the right candidates and deliver a positive experience internally and externally in the recruitment process.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent experience

CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

  • No professional certifications required

EXPERIENCE*

  • Two years of experience in high volume recruiting or equivalent experience in human resources/ recruiting support; or combination of experience
  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing candidates

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • 3 years of experience in high volume recruiting of professional, clinical, physician or information technology positions
  • Experience in human resources
  • Experience in corporate or agency healthcare recruitment

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office product suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using resume and applicant tracking systems
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining positive relationships with applicants, hiring leaders, vendors and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to execute recruitment strategies and searches
  • Knowledgeable about HR related laws, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to build robust sourcing plans for passive candidates

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Manages full life cycle recruiting for a broad range of positions.  
  2. Assists in the creation of sourcing strategies to identify and attract high quality candidates.
  3. Manages posting and advertising for assigned positions as needed.
  4. Identifies high caliber candidates for current and anticipated job opportunities. 
  5. Assesses, qualifies, and prioritizes candidates according to how well they match and exceed position requirements.
  6. Keeps hiring managers informed throughout the hiring process with updates and timely communication.
  7. Ensures all candidates have an ideal experience by providing timely contact, feedback, and support.
  8. Ensures data integrity by using all available technology and systems to accurately capture, track, and report relevant data in real time.
  9. Establishes strong relationships across Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and a reputation among hiring managers as a consultative partner who understands their units/departments, position requirements, and anticipated openings.
  10. Meets regularly with hiring managers regarding open / anticipated positions, candidates identified in process and opportunities for improvement.
  11. Assists with delivery of projects related to recruitment initiatives.
  12. Participates regularly in networking activities and recruiting events.
  13. Networks in the community and builds relationships across institutions.

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
