Oversees the implementation of integrated marketing strategies supporting the following programs and initiatives: injury/illness prevention, childhood obesity prevention, and internal (employee wellness and physician) wellness. Conducts and analyzes research and utilizes findings to make strategic recommendations.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
CERTIFICATION SUMMARY
  •  Valid Georgia driver’s license
EXPERIENCE*
  • 6 years of experience in marketing or communications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
  • Masters degree
  • Agency experience
  • Experience in people management
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*
  • Strong strategic skills in the development of content marketing communications plans, implementation rollout, and program management to achieve measurable results
  • Demonstrated ability to apply audience research and analytical insights and competitive analysis
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, market and business data, and ability to apply this information in the development, implementation, measurement, and evaluation of content marketing programs
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong business acumen
  • Must be a team player, consensus-builder, and persuasive presenter
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
  1. Consults and supports key business partners and leaders in the Child Advocacy area by providing guidance on System and specific business unit goals and their alignment.
  2. Ensures integration of marketing, public relations, digital marketing, content development, and social media to support achievement of system and business unit goals.
  3. Conducts research and utilizes quantitative and qualitative market information to guide analysis of competitive and industry trends as relates to designated business units.
  4. Provides competitor information to guide evaluation of competitive threats and opportunities and develops appropriate marketing strategies to maximize opportunities.
  5. Provides direction, oversight, and implementation of strategic marketing and external communications plans.
  6. Provides direction in identifying other clients and determining their needs and assists in identifying products to meet their needs as resources are available.
  7. Closely supervises Marketing Coordinators, including establishing goals and objectives, providing feedback and evaluating performance.
  8. Coaches and develops employees, focusing on development of strategic planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
