JOB SUMMARY

Project manages the design, development, and implementation of leadership and professional development learning initiatives in support of the overall leadership learning strategy. Researches relevant content and industry trends and makes recommendations for content and delivery methods, and  customizes learning to fit the appropriate delivery method for specific audiences.  Tailors new and maintains existing materials for instructor-led and self-paced learning activities. Provides instructional design and development leadership and guidance Curates online learning assets.  Develops and executes training project plans. Provides data and analytics expertise to support the measurement of learning effectiveness.  Manages the assessment process and reporting. Facilitates, and delivers leadership and professional development courses as needed.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, training and development, education, or related field 

CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

No professional certifications required

EXPERIENCE*

•    Three years of experience in  learning, marketing and/or graphics design 
•    Minimum two years’experience in program coordination/project management
•    Proven experience  in data analytics and reporting
•    Proven experience providing instructional design and training implementation support to training project team members
•    Experience and understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning methodologies
•    Demonstrated experience in delivering Leadership content
•    Experience in web design is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

Master's degree in instructional design, training and development, education, or related field. 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

•    Demonstrated and proven organizational, problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail, particularly in writing original content and editing legacy materials
•    Ability to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities
•    Knowledge of recent and relevant leadership models, theories, and content
•    Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

1.    Project manages the design, development, and implementation of leadership and professional development learning initiatives.
2.    Provides design consultation for organization-wide events and leader development course offerings.
3.    Designs and conducts audience, task, and content needs analysis using structured tools.
4.    Develops a program structure with well-defined learning objectives aligned with business performance goals.
5.    Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
6.    Partners with leaders at all levels to customize experiential leadership content.
7.    Provides instructional design guidance to curate online learning resources.
8.    Tailors training materials, including facilitator guides, participant guides, course handouts, and learning activities as needed for assigned training projects.
9.    Facilitates leadership and professional development courses as needed.
10.    Reviews evaluation data to assess the effectiveness of training programs, and implements recommendations for improvements.
11.    Maintains library of learning and team development tools and resources.
12.    Curates online learning assets.  
13.    Develops and executes training project plans. 
14.    Provides data and analytics expertise to support the measurement of learning effectiveness.  
15.    Manages the assessment process and reporting. 
16.    Facilitates, and delivers leadership and professional development courses as needed.

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
 
Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
