JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Service Center Assistant provides professional, timely, and accurate responses to inquiries from staff, managers, executives, candidates, and others contacting the Human Resources Shared Services Center. Communicates and processes standardized transactional human resources activities across the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta organization.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma

EXPERIENCE*

  • Experience in human resources
  • 1 year of experience in employee benefits

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Experience in a shared services environment
  • Lawson HRIS
  • Bachelor's degree

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Knowledge of human resources practices and policies

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Serves as a resource to employees, candidates, and stakeholders by providing accurate information, resolving issues, and completing a high volume of diverse transactions.
  2. Identifies areas for process improvement and communicates to Manager, Benefits.
  3. Serves as backup to other functions within Human Resources and Total Rewards.

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
