Digital Marketing Coordinator/Website Product Owner

JOB SUMMARY

The digital marketing coordinator will support Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta digital team in managing the content and information architecture of our health system’s websites and other digital platforms. The digital marketing coordinator will work within our Sitecore CMS platform to keep all websites updated to ensure alignment with our patient experience and business goals. This position requires an understanding of website usability best practices, agile methodologies, and web content management systems. In addition, responsibilities include working with third party developers and Information Security and Technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and problem solver with strong communication and time management skills. We are also looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail, strong technical competence, and ability to effectively collaborate across teams.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge
CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

EXPERIENCE*
  • 1 year of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Content management system (CMS) experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
  • Experience with Sitecore
  • General knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices-both content and technical
  • High-level technical understanding of web applications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in pay-per-click and search engine optimization
  • Knowledge of web usability best practices

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
  1. Manages content and information architecture of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta public websites and other digital platforms on a daily basis and effectively oversees content updates, ensuring online best practices are met.
  2. Collaborates with digital team members to proactively identify optimizations based on analysis of site engagement data and user insights and feedback
  3. Consults with marketing team members regarding website implications of new and ongoing marketing campaigns and content calendars
  4. Manages relationships with third-party developers and internal Information Technology resources to enhance website features and functionality
  5. Supports development of search engine optimization strategy and implements tactics to increase website page rankings on leading search engines.
SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
