Content Coordinator

Work Schedule/Days:  Day / Monday - Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Gathers, researches and catalogues information that enhances the value of core content to all of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s audiences, including employees, patients, community, physicians, referring physicians, and potential recruits. Regularly updates the system’s digital collection of photos, consent forms, documents, videos and other materials, and assists teams and individuals in locating, obtaining and using materials. Trains others in the creation and preservation of digital resources and use of the digital asset management system. Interacts with information systems and technology staff in selecting, developing, implementing and maintaining the digital asset management tool’s technical infrastructure. Implements department’s video production process.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Library Science, Writing, or related field, or equivalent knowledge

EXPERIENCE*

  • 3 years of experience in exhibited editorial writing, library science, or digital asset management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Experience in digital asset management

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CatDV or related system, social networks, and online community-building
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform independently with broad scope projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Works with information systems and technology staff in selecting, developing, implementing and maintaining the digital asset management tool’s technical infrastructure.
  2. Coordinates project timelines, activities and data reporting for video productions.
  3. Trains others to be proficient in the Children’s digital asset management and supporting technologies.
  4. Collaborates with Marketing, Public Relations, and Creative to review projects and determine core content for marketing activity plans.
  5. Monitors social media environment to address content as needed or elevate potential issues.
  6. Gathers facts, material, and details to create content ideas using problem solving to understand project and all underlying requirements for a variety of media channels including web, print, and broadcast.
  7. Provides project management support for content projects of marketing plans with limited management interaction.

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
