Provides supervision and support needed to meet and/or establish departmental standards in support of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s mission, vision, and values. Performs all assigned duties and tasks in an effective, efficient manner and in compliance with all appropriate regulatory agency requirements that govern the operations of the department.  Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and  promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred


  • No professional certifications required


  • 5 years of relevant experience


  • 1 year of experience as lead cashier/supervisor


  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and willing to be cross-trained within the department
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and sound judgment


  1. Reconciles all cash drawers and ensures deposits are accurate and secure.
  2. Works the cash register during shift times and makes sure registers are set up and stocked appropriately.
  3. Ensures all areas of the cafeteria and dining room are cleaned and properly stocked.
  4. Ensures parking booth is kept neat at all times (Parking/Transport area only).
  5. Assists maintenance custodial with traffic control as needed during peak hours (Parking/Transport area only).
  6. Checks all parking equipment prior to start and end of shift and reports all malfunctions to management (Parking/Transport area only).


Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.


Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
