Associate Graphic Designer (Integrated)

JOB SUMMARY

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is looking for an Associate Graphic Designer with 2+ years of digital and print design experience to join our in-house marketing team. We need a team player who is well-organized, hard working, detail oriented, motivated, enthusiastic and able to effectively handle several projects at once … someone who will contribute to a collaborative environment and is eager to grow our brand. The ideal candidate can demonstrate amazing design ability and a good understanding of the digital landscape.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
CERTIFICATION SUMMARY
  • No professional certifications required
EXPERIENCE*
  • 1 year of experience in both Mac and PC platforms with appropriate design software knowledge, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
  • 1 year of experience in graphic design demonstrating strong print design and production, photography and illustration, and art direction skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects

Working knowlede of Adobe XD, HTML, CSS, and UX/UI

Experience with display ad animation, etc.

Solid understanding of layout and design principles including typography, composition, color theory, responsible web design, email and landing page templates and production

    

   

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

Develop projects from concept to delivery with oversight from Team Lead

Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, technology and standards to bring new ideas and outside influences to all areas of design

Partner successfully with other creatives and across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver creative solutions that meet objectives

Produce quality creative work across multiple disciplines including digital, print, social and more

Manage and prioritize work effectively, ensuring deadlines and approval procedures are adhered to

Participate in asset creation and production, following agency file management and naming conventions

Be flexible and adaptive to meet changing needs, direction and/or deadlines

Actively participate/contribute to brainstorms

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
