JOB SUMMARY

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is hiring an Asset Management Analyst to join our IT Team! The IT Asset Management Analyst provides data and process analysis in all aspects of the asset management process. This requires a knowledge of hardware asset lifecycle from request to disposal and assisting in converting the output of the data analysis into executive dashboard and presentation views. 

EDUCATION

Associate's degree in Computer Sciences, equivalent field, or equivalent experience 

CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

EXPERIENCE*

  • 2 years experience in information technology processes. 
  • 1 year experience in computer operations. 

 
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • High level familiarity with ITSM processes. 
  • Experience with ServiceNow’s asset management module. 
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow reporting and dashboard creation capability. 
  • Experience in business process management. 
  • Experience with other configuration management tools such as SCCM, Splunk, Qualys, etc. 

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  • Knowledge of inventory process and controls including asset tagging and data cleansing. 
  • Having advanced data analytic skills including experience with comparing data sets between multiple sources, ability to use formulas and pivot tables. 
  • Demonstrating time management and organizations skills including ability to prioritize competing demands. 
  • Assessing, prioritizing and applying the simplest process or solution to meet the business need is necessary. 
  • Communicating effectively in both oral and written form. 
  • Demonstrating familiarity with hardware asset management vendors and processes. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Perform the operations of the Information Systems & Technology asset management and inventory management function. 
  2. Define and perform periodic audits to ensure process adherence and data quality. 
  3. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enact them. 
  4. Deliver process documentation on what is required to effectively manage our hardware assets. 
  5. Manage hardware inventory at stockrooms, ensuring product is asset-controlled and managed. 
  6. Assist with periodic hardware refresh activities, including planning, forecasting, and budgeting. 
  7. Review disposed assets to ensure they are properly reported and documented. 
  8. Develop and deliver training to team members to ensure that appropriate asset management processes are followed. 

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.
 
Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
